Aspiring Professionals

Introduction

Ballet West have been running Aspiring Professional classes in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Perth for several years. In all venues the courses involve classes in ballet and jazz aimed specifically at talented students who aspire to a career in professional dance or who would enjoy and benefit from a series of classes with top class professionals. All students accepted on the course will have the opportunity to perform in a full length ballet with the Ballet West Company.

Who can attend?

The classes are aimed at students who are already attending regular dance classes and who would benefit from extra classes. The classes will be open to students of all ages and classes will be divided up into groups according to age and ability.

Fees

The annual course fees for the classes in each venue will be £400 for 2011-12. This fee is for a course of 10 classes throughout the year and refunds cannot be given for missed classes. Students wishing to attend more than one set of classes, e.g. Glasgow & Edinburgh, will be entitled to a 10% discount on the 2nd or 3rd class; this will also apply to a 2nd or 3rd child attending the same class.

Locations: Glasgow, Edinburgh and Perth

The classes will take place at the following venues on one Sunday every month:
